sel_69l Bedrock of the Community Australia 21788 Posts	Posted 04/27/2012 10:06 pm I think that this coin is of the scarcer type. It has seen extensive circulation and has some wear, most evident on the side of the King's head and the high part of the cheek. The condition is VF. The reverse with this design always seems to be in better condition than the obverse. Perhaps that is a tribute to Kruger Gray's design. (KG) Report this Post to the Staff

So I suppose I shouldn't sell it this low, I don't have any place for it in my collection. But I don't want to get ripped and find out it's worth way more.. I have three of these coins: one is a near diamond (like yours) and the other two are far diamonds. Not sure about price. I only have a 2007 New Zealand coin catalogue. Report this Post to the Staff

I do not collect NZ coins but the half crowns may be my next project. They will fit in perfectly with my Aussie 50 cents and my Canadian 50 cent coins.
