Not sure any assistance or clues would be appreciated. I feel a little silly when its PMD but I don't know enough yet to say for sure and the reason I think this is struck through, the pitting damage is on one side only. Thanks!

I can't see what you are looking at. Machine put the coin through a lot of damage, especially slot machines.

But if it is marked into the coin, it is damage.

It is is raised from the coin, then it would be a die issue.
