I'll be posting some 20c Error pictures here, starting with the Commemorative coins, the first lot are Bradman, all Reverse. I can't recall finding any Bradman Obv errors, that's not to say they don't exist. The first image shows the locations where the errors occur. Error 1: Fine Die Cracks between and around -2-0-0-1- Error 2:Cuds on the Inner circle above CENTS, note that there's small Cud above the C in the 3rd image. Error 3: Cuds on the inner circle in various positions below MAN-2 I think some these should be relatively easy to find; I have multiples of Errors 1 and 2, but the Error 3 I've posted are the only ones of those I have. More dates will follow as I get them organized and imaged. life is a mystery to be lived not a problem to be solved

I've got four of the Bradmans, which all have the dies cracks around the 2001 & the Cuds on the inner circle. But I like the final two pictures in the first lot the Cud under the A in BRADM"A"N. It's pretty much a perfect example.

Thanks Nancy you're a wealth of information. Had a look through mine and found a big rim Cud under the 2nd "A" of Bradman, a small chin Cud on the obverse, a rim Cud under the 2 in "2001" and a thin streak or rim Cuds above the word "cents". I did't find any die cracks but then again I didn't really look that hard for them.

A few different views of 8 x 20c coins with partially missing claws: 20c 1994 c1 & 1999 c2 Duo Part Missing Claw 20c 2001 c3 & 2002 c4 Duo Part Missing Claw 20c 2004 c5 & 2005 c6 Duo Part Missing Claw 20c 2007 c7 & 2009 c8 Duo Part Missing Claw I'm sure that they also exist for 2008 where almost the entire foot is missing, but I can't seem to locate them just now.

I found an interesting 1968 20 cent coin in my noodling last night. It has a peculiar "step" at the end of the base of the "2". I wonder if this is due to a damaged die, or whether it is PMD . There does not appear to be damage around this feature. I have attached a picture below, comparing this to a 1970 20 cent coin. Squire

Quote: It has a peculiar "step" at the end of the base of the "2" I would say that's PMD. By the looks of it, it's taken a hit at some stage.

Found this 1968 20c last night with a few faults. The base line has a slight peak in the middle, Cud in a few places around the rim and a error at the top of the queen head. Anyone seen this before?

being only new to the forum, coins with a small Cud error, are they worth anything apart from face value, or is it the bigger the Cud the more there worth.are they very collectable
