I've worked on this issue for more than three months with John Albanese. CAC certifying Ikes is a sea change for the way the numismatic market views Ikes... and perhaps soon, moderns as well.

Very nice article!

I didn't realize that CAC didn't review slabbed modern coins. It is nice they started off with the Ikes. It'll be interesting to see if they look into other modern coins in the future. I know right now they say no, but I bet they will in a few more years. Once they get the classic set of coins under their belt, they will venture out into the modern series.

Nice article! Cac should do Roosevelt dimes though.....more collectors.

I actually didnt realize they didnt do modern coins at all either especially not IKEs. I guess in all fairness due to my age modern coins probably has a different meaning to me than most people
