What-Is-This,-Real,-Fake,-Who-Knows?

Just bought this at flea market for 3 dollars can any one advise if real gold leaf, just a guess of course.

It sure has the look of gold, thin like a dollar note, may weigh a gram or two 2"5/16"x5"7/8" , no coin store near me..thanks for any id

stamped 23k (gold leaf looking) The only odd thing is, appears all gold the ship also? the case says first gold and silver?

Gov of Antigua and Barbuda, if real gee worth a bit more then 3 dollars, sold cheap wonder if a fake? thanks

Royal Rover/ and King James ships

I also have one of these and believe they are real. No real gold content but certainly collectible. There is a whole series of these.

Selling on ebay for roughly $20US depending on which one you have.

That is weird and thanks for sharing.
I can't imagine having this in my wallet and use it to buy groceries.

At current exchange rates it's worth like 30-something dollars face value if you can find some place to exchange it. It's so strange I can't imagine trading it in for regular cash though.

I have seen an an example of a U.S. gold $100 bill. Very interesting, and a bit if a gimmick. Numismatically, no value.

Nevertheless, they do have some real value in the marketplace.

If that is your thing, buy one! No harm done.
