can you post a pic of the effected coins edge? I'm going to say damaged as I see no sign of Blakesly Effect.

I think the clip has to be kinda curved. I found this one a couple boxes ago...

A clip can be straight or ragged too, but it's less common. This one looks like the edge has just been ground down post-mint, but it's hard to be sure from the pictures (52Raymo's is absolutely genuine).

I'll take a picture of the edge when I get home. I was thinking it was ground down at first too. But it's hard to tell because it's got 42 years of wear and tear on it.

The letters and rim at the clip look to me like it's PMD.
