This is the first coin that I bought in a month. Received this in the mail this morning from Eddop. Ed is turning me into a Carus and family collector. Carinus, M AVR CARINVS NOB CAES/PIETAS AVGG/KAZ, Rome mint. RIC VII 155.

That's a nice coin.
I have Carus, Carinus and Numerian. Magnia Urbica will be very difficult to purchase at my budget. Nigrinian impossible.

Thanks, the obverse is really nice. I'm also looking for a nice Magnia Urbica haven't fopund one I like or could afford yet. The Nigrinian is also out of my reach.

Ed, that is a low price. But I'm willing to wait for a better one to come along. Just have to save up for it.

We all have to decide how much of our budget to spend on wives and kids barely footnoted in history and how much to reserve for more, nicer, interesting coins of the figures that actually made history. I do not have Magnia and doubt that will change.
