I already have ten uncleaned coins in the process of a long soak but my first cleaned coin arrived yesterday.  information provided obverse Constantine II as caesar reverse campgate ric 123 struck 325 AD pretty happy with it |

That is exactly the sort of coin I recommend for beginning collectors. If you are still interested in coins in 50 years there is no reason that you will not still own and love this coin. Survivors of uncleaned lots are less likely to be long term.

Im actually quite enjoying the cleaning process on my others. There are two or three that I can see details coming out in. But you do have to have a lot of patience, I had a friend come over while I was scrubbing at them and she was very impatient to see what was underneath.

I was working on a batch of coins today, I think this is the second pickin' session with this coin..but now I can clearly see that it is a lefty campgate...   Maybe even the same coin as yours juzzyb? If not, very similar. If it comes out good I'll post picks when I'm finished. |
