Is this the broken R variety I've read about or is it PMD?

Hey numismo

Just that there is no relief at all on the left side of your coin, as though it was never stamped, but I am no expert.

Just trying to throw in my 2 cents worth...

It is because the hub (Positive) broke off that area on the hub, the dies (Which are negatives) will show that area missing because the hub was lacking in that area. On the 1956 Cents part of the hub broke off on the bottom of the 6. So you see several dies showing this area lacking. So varieties and some normal coins.

Yes, but there we many like that, so it is common unless it is a variety coin. But we would need to see more of the coin to see what it is?

Here coop, hope this helps. I guess you're looking for doubling. I don't see any.
