Hello, I just started looking at this forum because I have some golden coins in my possession and I would like to know their names and their worth in the market.

I would really appreciate it, if someone could take a look and tell me what s/he believes about their worth, and if possible the name & age of the coins?

Thanks in advance

The example with the denomination "20 Lei" is most likely Romania.
Search for the ruler of Romania in 1890.

The other two are probably from Austria and/or Austro-Hungarian Empire.
"Aust" and "Hun" are the clues that I used.
"Marth" in the center [1792] and "Joseph II" [1787] are the rulers, I think.

Wikipedia just confirmed - Joseph II is Austria.
The lady in the middle I can't place.

The woman in the middle is more than likely Maria Theresa, one of the most famous coin women of all time. I don't know anything about it, but I know my dad gave me a Maria Theresa Thaler that had been made in the 1970s, as is the appeal of these coins as a standard bearer of good currency they were reproduced all over.

N'Tag, Augsburger!

I think that you are correct.
I originally saw "MARTH," but upon a closer look I now see: "MAR*TH"
which just has to be an abbreviation for Maria Theresa.
A truly formidable ruler.

The portrait is a a bit different from the Thaler and that added to my confusion.
Rest in Peace

Thanks to all of you for the helpful information, I am using your hints to pin-point them in Google.
Is there anyway that I could figure out their market value once I got the exact details of the coins?

I am interested in selling them, but I am not sure what is the correct way of doing so, and how to evaluate
their real value. I asked a couple of local gold-stores, and they told me to try ebay.

One down ... two to go.

The third coin is Romanian.

They list the gold bullion content if that helps you.
