Well at least from a real retailer and not ebay.

But I made a post a while back having issues with sending money in an envelope with a stamp on it. Made me nervous. But I went to gold mart, put a roll of silver 2012 eagles into my card. Bought it, and just mailed them a check!

If everything goes smoothly, I will definitely be using them again! When prices dropped below $30 again, I just couldnt resist! 653.09 with shipping and everything.

I could have gotten some of their silver bars for any cheaper. But the small premiums on the eagles seem to be a good bet!

I hope everything works out and I will take some pictures when/if they get here for yall!

yea its just crazy that you could get TWO
http://www.goldmart.com/bullion-1/s...99-fine.html

for under $600 though. But I felt the demand for the eagles would keep their value more. And I prefer smaller silver and gold to the larger.

I still hope everythign works out! I have some money in a paypal account too, I might grab some airtites off of ebay to keep em clean :D

I agree with Hawk. Any chance to pickup a mint tube's worth of ASE's at a great price is fiat well spent!

Not spent... merely converted from paper with ink on it to REAL money!

Congrats on the purchase! Just be prepared for a loooong wait until the coins arrive. The first (and last) time I paid by check to Goldmart it took nearly three weeks for the items to arrive. Most of that was waiting for the check to clear, part of it was due to there being a holiday weekend involved, but I've come to realize that Goldmart is just, well, a bit on the slow side when it comes to shipping.

Don't get me wrong -- they have great service, great selection and great prices (especially if you order enough to qualify for free shipping), but I would never order from them if I were in a hurry. Heck -- I ordered a monster box of silver maples from them back on April 23, paid by bank wire and the box was just delivered today. Pity the value dropped by over $1000 while I was waiting for it to arrive, but that's a different story...

I just had a similar experience with Provident. I ordered 4 tubes of silver Maples on 4/14, paid by check as usual, and received the shipment on 5/2. This is longer than usual. Previous shipments from Provident only took about 10 days.

Another odd thing is that when I order from APMEX, I have to "guarantee" the shipment with a credit card that is not charged but could be if my check bounced. LOL! Fat chance of that happening! Anyway, this does not speed up the shipment at all. It still takes about 10 days to get the order.

One of these days, guys, a new PM seller will come on the scene who can vet their customers via their credit ratings and who will then ship immediately upon phone verification of a customer's check. That would eliminate the check kiting... er, 5-6 day holding time. It would also make for faster shipments and happier customers who BUY MORE PMs. If they really felt the need to back up the check with a valid CC, that would be fine.
