Compared to our own 1 and 2 cent copper coin sets the US counterparts are dirt cheap and readily available in good grades. One way to view it is that Peter saved the cost of a flight to the states and back :P There are more thaan one kind of coin collector anyway, for some they want to get maximum value for their $ and want to buy every individual piece for less than its worth. Some others want what they want and will pay whatever it costs to build their collection and mosst are inbetween...not minding to pay a small premium but expecting to take a small loss in the short term.
