Where did you get a silver made after 1964? Someone that hard up for change?

Canada had silver for a few more years after the US got rid of it.

I haven't find any silver in circulation yet, but my daughter have found a few at work. That's where I get them from.

Haha....ya I don't get to search everyday. Sometimes I get to search a few times a week and other weeks I don't get to look at all.
Canadian dimes and quarters contained silver until 1967 and half of the 1968 contains 50% silver.

Wow, makes me wish I was in Canada. With all those extra years, I bet it's a little bit easier to find some while roll hunting. I was thinking the same as accordselux till I read the next post. But I was guessing you got lucky with some proof ones or something. Found a Canadian dime about a month ago, never seen one since then. Not many here in Los Angeles area. I'm starting to like the designs Canada uses.

Samsnate...what volume do you typically search a week? And what sorts of rolls/where are you getting your rolls?

I've been skunked a lot recently and am starting to get discouraged..

Thank you all. I have gotten lucky with a few 4 and 5 silver boxes. I get customer wrapped coins from my bank. I have had my best luck when on road trips and stop in at the small town banks along the way. Like I said before, some weeks I dont search and others I get to search 2 to 3 boxes. Keep searching and happy hunting!
