Maybe you guys can help me make some mods to my process. I don't really know what I'm doing so here's how I go about it:

-Check for obvious errors i.e. Cud MAD
-If its super shiny put it aside, it may be better than my current specimen for the year

-Put aside all wheat cents

-put aside all '60s MM coins to check for RPM

-put aside all 1960 and 1970 to check for small and large dates

-put aside 1972 and 1995 for when I figure out how to check for DDO

-Check '92 for CAM and '98 '99 and '00 for WAM

What am I missing? Are there other rather common varieties that I should be looking for?

I got to where I check as I go instead of saving them for later. After awhile you get pretty good at remembering what to look for. I still keep a browser open to a page with years and their error/varieties for the Lincoln's. I do have to admit that my wife and I asked Baby Jesus for help, like Ricky Bobby did on that movie Taledega Nights. We hadn't found ANYTHING. It worked and I immediately found a 1960-D/D.

Sooooo, thank you Baby Jesus !
