It's not a coin, but a catalogue signed by R S Yeoman, addressed to J A Haxby? Wondering if it's a personal signature or something else. I've posted this over in the supplies section but I'm not getting many responses.

Yea, I don't see it as a 'dot'. I've had a few raw 1947 purchases on ebay thinking there's a solid dot in the picture only to have a plain 1947 show up in the mail delivery (same come though).

Keeping up with this set is getting impossible to keep up with. I'm going to have to accept that what I can get from here out is good enough. At this count to date, I think I will have 214 different 5 cent coins from 1922 to 2017. That includes commemoratives, proof-likes, proofs, specimens and a smattering of varieties amidst the regular minted issues with various effigy and mintmarks. These are on the way after a rather expensive ( in my opinion ) updating. Now I see a silver proof for 2017 with the regular design in a 2017 Pure Silver Proof Set - 150th Anniversary of Canadian Confederation! The image of the set shows the old beaver on some images and it shows the strange swimming beaver I just ordered below. Wonder if there are two different silver proof nickels for 2017? That would make 5 different 2017 5 cent coins for this year! I missed 2014 completely somehow, so I caught up on those and went on a spree for the 2017 a week or two ago. These are in the mail someplace. When I get a chance, I am going to start a thread with a checklist we can add to for the Canadian 5 cent series.

Nice pickups Denny, that 2000 quarter is nice in colour, good looking 1991 quarter as well. There is a 1987 Proof Voyageur dollar as well. Last year for that design.
