I wonder how companies that grade errors can tell a real brockage from a fake one if someone uses two coins. I would imagine with the collar in place, a real one would remain round while a garage job, the coin would look distorted like this one with nothing to contain the metal displaced by the squeeze or a hammer or vice.

Im no expert but you said the reason yourself why it's an easy to spot garage job. The other side is heavily worn/flattened. Not even slightly consistent with the other side's story.

You have to think the way a brockage is made. You would need a normal coin to become a diecap first then that creates a brockage coin and then that brockage coin would need to be come a diecap itself. Even if that unlikely scenario happened you would still be left with a coin that would be almost blank on one side, as the brockage coin that became a diecap has almost no image to transfer and even if it did it would no longer be a mirror image cause mirror of a mirror is just normal, and a normal brockage on the other side.

Either way it would result in alot of things you can't get just by pressing 3 coins together. Not to mention that the reversed image should be the stronger image and like your coin the 3 coins pressed together would still have the original non reversed image showing stronger.

Again I'm no expert so if an error collector could chime in if anything I said doesn't make sense.
