After looking through all those 25cents for flaws etc I decided to look at 3 whitman albums 1920 to 72 (1 cents) 3 hours later put them down after finding hanging 3's, double dates on 2 and a couple of replacements for my collection. then went to do my granddaughters small cents and !!! how did I miss that ? didn't look at the Obverse 's

@dollarman Good luck getting ICCS to admit the SWL, I tried getting them over the past few years to do same for me on a few coins and they refused. I finally sent them to PCGS who had no problem with my request.

I thought I had found a reasonable 1946 $1. The pics looked shiny and I asked the seller if the surface was original or was it cleaned or buffed. He assured me it was original. Under table lamp light and a 10x glass it has had the heck buffed out of it. Details are MS on the coin. Now that I have the coin and can compare with the images I can now see that it shows signs of being polished. Learning what to look for in images. Seller contacted.
