They have sentimental value so I'm not looking to sell, however I am very interested in how much they could be worth. I know absolutely nothing about coins or grading so If you guys could help me out that would be awesome! - The last few coins are almost unidentifiable :( Report this Post to the Staff

nybird Valued Member United States 459 Posts	Posted 05/13/2012 07:39 am Not much value as they are fairly common and worn. Your 1859 looks like obverse 24 with the die crack through the C in CANADA. There are 103 known obverses in 1859. See vickycents.com. It was paired with at least 5 different reverses. It is hard to tell from your photos which one you have. To a die variety collector (depending on reverse) your 59 might be worth $5-10. Have fun, hope this helps. Report this Post to the Staff
Terry-T Valued Member Canada 115 Posts	Posted 05/16/2012 9:00 pm 1903-Fine-15 1906-Fine-12 1884-Fine-12 (obverse #2) because of damage, corrosion, etc. these won't be worth close to book value. 1893-Good (check if it has a double-punched 9) 1882-Good or less (obverse #1) 1920-Fine-15 1876-forget it 1842 or 1844 Lower Canada token - forget it Georgivs coin is a George III British halfpenny, could be a contemporary counterfeit. Nice obverse, but reverse looks pretty bad. Any date visible ? Report this Post to the Staff
