Doesn't look like Machine Doubling to me. so I say Double Die but dont know what kind...sorry...

This is very common on the 80 for some reason like on the back of a 92 the memorial bar will be splitting on the right side I think it is split platting where the coppper is seperating from the zinc.

Your "doubling" is concave. Doubled die doubling is never concave. In fact what you have is a trench around the letters - it's not really doubled at all. This rules out Machine Doubling.

The coin shows a heavy case of die wear.
