Went for dinner at the in laws place for mothers day tonight and came away quite happy. When I got there I was given a jar of coins to go through and whatever I wanted I could have.
I came away with
A 1951 half penny
A 1961 half penny
A1919 penny
A 1952 penny
A 1962 penny
A 1964 penny
A 1988 commemerative $5 coin
A bunch of 50 cent commemeratives from over the years
And an uncirculated 1981 set in mint folder.

So overall pretty happy

... what nice in-laws
Good to keep the coin collecting in the family.
I give a lot of my doubles to my sister.
I am keeping triples for one of my other sisters !.

I have given some of my brothers and sisters hints on how to look for special coins in their change. So maybe, maybe we will "net" a 2000 $1/10 cent mule between the lot of us...
