Quote: A few weeks ago I just traded 21oz pure bullion for 1/2 oz gold maple....so the stack is small but mighty and diverse. Cheers! Very nice trade, Sam. Typical gold to silver ratio now is almost 57 to 1, so getting that 1/2 oz. Maple for 21 oz. of silver is quite a good trade. Very well done!

940.8 oz., with two coins on the way. Edging closer to the 1000 oz. club, but I still estimate it will take at least the better part of the year to get there. I just can't win it fast enough on ebay to really add up, I suppose. When essentially all I ever buy are proofs and I can't just lay down $2000 for a few rolls of ASEs like some members are doing, I feel like I'm never making a lot of progress on reaching my goal. But then again, I started with absolutely nothing less than four years ago, so it just shows how much silver truly adds up if one remains dedicated and keeps at it with single-minded purpose.

I received my sheet of one oz. silver panda of 30, plus a oz. of gold panda from APMEX. I am guessing that my stack of mixed siilver is around 300+ oz. Mix with ASE and other junk silver. For those of you that like myself hadn't saw a sheet of silver panda before, here's the pictures. The plastic bag that hold the bullion coins have special marking which helps to deter counterfeiters from mimicking it.

My current silver hoard is 1038 ozt. I just got 33 pre-1965 US quarters to add to the hoard from my local pawn shop. Most were just circulated bullion type coins but there were a few from the 1930s and 1940s in there. There were also 13 of them in XF-AU condition, which was nice. Got them all for $165, so not too bad a deal either.

Not too much bullion here. 30 oz. of silver bullion, 2 rolls of 90% quarters and dimes. Some gold and rhodium too.

poboxw,
There's a large collectors base in the world for these Panda, the premium is high for Panda, but over time the sell prices also goes with it. I am planning to buy a sheet for every year from now on, if financially allowed, I would also buy an ounce of gold panda.

@ Coincollect. Nice work! Weeeeeeeeeeee. Keep going! :-)
@ Macmercury. Those are awsome! Huge premiums and a nice coin. Had a few once but sold them off. I miss them. Might get another if I can find some without the huge premium. The last time I bought I paid high just to have one. Hope I can get 1! :-)
