The biggest problem with these bars is no .999 or fine silver stamp, but I have talked to owner an he is on the up an up seems like as he as acid tested them, an said they will read .999 on electric tester, but of course that just tells the bars surface story, plated is always a possibility....

My largest issue with them, would be convincing the rest of the world come sell time, that they are indeed silver bars....

http://www.ebay.com/itm/10-Troy-Oun...806779641070

Actually the first feedback I saw on this bar, the guy asked for refund an it was granted, an his percentage is like 93, not good. So this may be a fine example of you get what you pay for if even that, as I still would not be surprised if these turned out to not be silver....

After reading some scam feed-backs, I would not risk buying from this seller....

Not worth the risk IMO... just spend the few dollars more for a good bar.

Yes I agree 100%, as I just thought to post it as a great buy opportunity at first, which quickly turned to a warning after reading the feed-backs, lol...

This is the lowest a 10 oz. bar sells for on ebay right now, an like you said waaaay better to spend 20 bucks more right now an get a legitimate bar. If he had 100% feed-backs, an sold 5 of them an all buyers praised the bar, I may consider it......

I think another great thought on these lines, is it should not be that hard to find a good reputable 10 oz. bar with silver down close to 28 bucks for 300 EVEN, but it just goes to show that ebay always fetches a higher premium over spot on nice bars. My point to this, just like platinum it seems to the sellers who have much in these PM's, price they choose on buy it nows, deviates from the spot price. Now then, that does not mean they will sell a lot on ebay, as people with way high buy it now's sells are FAR an FEW between as there are to many educated buyers out there that are not gonna let that seller make some extra coin at their expense....

That is why a low starting auction under spot value, will always bring you what the item is worth most of the time, considering you picked the correct listing at the correct time, as an item ending at 3 A.M. Tuesday night, probably is not gonna get the action of an auction ending at say dinner time on a Friday night right after pay day.....

For sure, personally I don't think I'll buy silver from ebay and just go with a reputable dealer. I prefer to eliminate the risk involved and for the small margin on a deal its just not worth it. Also the deal that seem to good to be true are usually scams.

For selling on ebay I find timing is everything. I like to have it finish friday/saturday/sunday night and seem to do quite well.

I am very uneasy about this deal. I haven't looked at his feedback, but the no refund policy would make me stay away.

I would avoid it Spider, as mentioned above safe to go strait from dealer, as your order through gold mart. With the low cost deals they are offering anyway, just a no-brainier....

You really think so? Better check ebay for a second opinion! You just guaranteed silver bars.

I have always sold poured bars for the same price as any other 10oz bar. Are these worth any extra?

I'm with Hawk, here. I do not believe for a single instant that they are silver. As far as no refund? Good luck with that, Mr. Seller, if the buyer chooses to return it. Consider "no refund" a personal preference for sellers, anymore. ebay will virtually always back the buyer in a dispute.
