Rose-breasted Grosbeak - 25-Cent Coloured Coin (2012) is on the last chance page already.

Phone orders only. Looks like we have another hit. Took forever for the bird coins to sell out last year. Better get yours soon.

I'd like to. Ordered it back in February! Just got an update yesterday saying it was 'back-ordered' so I'm still waiting!

@CC-Ottawa: Sorry, they've got all my orders jumbled together and re-ordered and back-ordered and cancelled and doubled and I don't know what else so it's probably showing the wrong date. Something majorly screwy must have gone wrong with their web ordering system. When I check my order from 02 Feb on the website it's still showing 'processing' and every coin I ordered appears twice. Yet I finally received the last 3 coins from that order 2 weeks ago. And just received an invoice for the order 2 days ago even though it was all paid for when ordered. I'm just keeping my fingers crossed that eventually everything will show up in my mailbox at least once and on my credit card only once!

p.s. I think I'm going to put their phone number on speed dial!

I understand that. My orders are often doubled on the website and I have no idea what 'processing' means but every now and then they change the status and date and call it 'processing'. I have one order for an uncirculated set that just shows as $3.11 in tax. The coins are free I guess.

I actually had to set up a spreadsheet to track what I have ordered and what today's expected ship date is per the website.

I feel your pain. It seems like whenever the processing date changes, my card is billed.

I've also written down what I have ordered online, not just from RCM. Right now I have 10 orders on my list and 4 crossed out. :(

I am waiting for 60 coins from the mint myself and the same 60 from 3 dealers and it looks like I will get the ones from the dealers first what's up with that since I order from the mint usually minutes after they are released that just does not seem right to me. I am just about ready to stop ordering from the mint all together since I can get them at the same price but quicker from dealers. Pretty sad when I can get them from Australia quicker than I can get them from Canada.

I ordered the bird along with the Dino and the glass bumblebee. If I have to wait up to 2 months for the Dino, does that mean I also have to wait just as long for the bird and bee or can the Mint ship the coins separately?

Mint site now says: Awaiting Stock.

That pretty much means sold out. I have to say I did not like the coin based on the photo but saw one in person yesterday. It is a good looking coin. The best in the series are still the nuthatch and cardinal but this coin is up there with those in terms of looks.

My local dealer has a few for the Mint price and it's still available on ebay for $30 + shipping, but I expect this coin wont stay cheep long.

I have a feeling the bumble bee won't do too well. I mean, if you had a choice between 25 cent bumble bee, and the $20 bumble bee, even with the premium, I'd buy the darn $20 one.

@BiBo, the grosbeak comes in a capsule and a case with certificate of authenticity. The bumblebee is only in a piece of colored card bard and plastic wrap. However, being only the 2nd issue of the series, you have a better chance to complete a series, there's a good chance for you to catch the ladybug with no or little premium. Whereas with the bird series, it'd be very hard to collect the previous ones, unless you're ready to part ways with some of your vital organs. My Two Cents
