Welcome to Coin Community, gormang. Your coin looks to be an example of post-mint damage. Something hit the mint mark, causing metal to be displaced away from the impact. I think whatever it was, was moving roughly from west-east, and a little downwards. That's how part of the mint mark was broken loose and displaced downwards, clear of where it was supposed to be.
