Poll Question
I am curious to see how others view their coin collections for those of us that collect graded coins. I know some people prefer theres raw as well.

But discussing a classic commem with another member I told him how once I started it with PCGS coins I was only interested in having PCGS coins in the collection as I want the coins to all look the same in their slabs and if they stand out I want it to be because of the coin not the holder. He said he did the same thing once he had started one as well.

I was curious to see how many people view their collections the same way. I know some people prefer NCG or PCGS in general, but after having a NGC coin in my modern (all PCGS) commem collection I just did not like the look of it at all in the white holder next to the clear ones.

Once you start a graded collection do you stick with whatever company you started with or do you just not care and go for whatever you like?

Trouble is, of course, you've got no guarantee the company you choose will continue making slabs that all look the same. Especially as they have to keep changing the slab's security features to keep up with the counterfeiters.

Thats true, minor changes dont really bother me much as long as the basic design is the same. If it got to bad some reholdering might be in order.

But its more the major differences like the white ngc holder vs the clear pcgs.
