Received as a gift last year and am clueless about scarcity, value, keeper or sell-it.

It is an 1997 Sterling Silver Proof nickel. Never heard of them before and I've found very little on the net regarding these little buggers.

Any advice?

Thnx

I have been grabbing a proof Canadian nickel since they were made of .925 silver since 1995 I think to present.
Without checking my set, I could be off a year or so. I don't know of any that are terribly difficult to get except the 2012 have been fetching $15 to $25 on ebay. All the others cost me arount $8 to $10.
I did pick up a few duplicates because they were $5. or $7. shipped last year and they were close to silver or under at the time.
