Got this 1955 silver penny from a world coin box.
Cant find anything on 1955 silver penny so am I correct in saying its a fake?

I wouldn't think it was a fake just Silver plated,at least thats my judgement after a dozen beers,i better stay away from ebay.

Yeh silver plated. There is someone selling them on ebay lately. It would be a genuine coin with a layer of metal which may or may not be silver.
