Are these worth keeping? I have a few rolls of AU 1982 and 1983 halves... are these worth anything or should I just toss them back?

Thanks!
Rest in Peace

Thanks Monk!

Another question, how is this BU? I have many coins better than this and I'd sell each one for $3 easy, way cheaper than this. People say check ebay, but I just see inflated prices I'd love to sell at... even HALF of what they are selling at.

I used to go off mintages like you said Monk, but in my RedBook, the 83's (MS) are worth more than 82's? Why would that be?
Just ignore and look at mintages for most coins? Thanks in advance!

Also this one, this would be the WORST of the coins I have and would easily sell a roll at a dollar per coin, what gives?

wrestling you need to look at completed sales. asking prices are meaningless. check completed sales, if any, and then you'll have an idea of the going rate. even completed sales without a high number of bids from different people need to be taken with a grain of salt since there very likely is shill bidding or collusion going on in certian auctions. also...auctions of single coins of minimal value are just generally suspect. I mean who is tyaking the time to sell/buy a $3 dollar coin and shipping it via a web auction site?

Put up on ebay as rolls. Should at least make a decent profit.

Below would be the normal grade I would say I have for the nickels and halves. I think it's pretty good besides the lip cut there. What might this be considered? Or not quite good enough to keep/sell? Thanks!

the 82 and 83 P halves can both be found without the FG designer's initials on the REV - check them.

I look through halves a lot and the 83's are really hard to find in good condition, much harder than 1982's imho. Seems as if the mint got sloppy in 1983, even my best finds are not all that good.
