US coins by BJG apps LOVE this app, keeps track of my collection. Doesn't have a Colonial database, that's the only way it could be better (for me anyway!)

Quote:For coin prices I use the Numismedia website. http://www.numismedia.com/fmv/fmv.shtml It works well on my Android I agree. I also have my lists rendered as PDF to easily view them on my smartphone.

I use the memento databasing app on my android tablet to keep track of my collection. It allows you to add whatever fields you want.

happy to help. The only issue I've found is that it occasionally force closes. I'm not sure if it's the app or my motorola xoom 2( known in the U.S. as the xyboard) either way it does a great job and the control over what you want to see is great.

If my math is correct, you are 17 hours ahead of California. Just arriving home from work at 11 pm...funny!

I found a solution for my Galaxy Android system. It came with a built-in app that allows me to process Excel spreadsheets. Since I have my collections inventoried on Excel, it was a simple matter to copy the files to the device. Now I have my complete inventory with me when I go to the coin shows!

That's great that you didn't have to retyPe everything.

I used to do it that way, but found it easier to zoom and scroll with Adobe Reader, which is why I render the spreadsheets to PDF now. Your mileage may vary.

I met a guy at a coinshow a couple months back that wrote a program for iPhone, called 'goldcollector' that does what you want. However, I don;t know if it's available for android.
