Hi everyone. Sharing my friend's collection. Doubling is strongest at the area of 10 o'clock and shows no doubling at the opposite site. Could it be the Class 5 - Pivoted Hub Doubling?

I had to compare to a regular coin to see how big the doubled die is on yours--that's dramatic!

Hi Broken-Coin, You are talking about assisted error coins that are, sadly, so rampant here in Malaysia. Eventhough error and variety coins collecting segment is relatively new here, but for some reason there are so many of these assisted error coins being offered for sale by dealers.
Looking at your specimens shown above, I think all four of them were made on purpose (assisted) and of course they are genuine. :D
Heard that dealers are still keeping a lot of these assisted error coins and is waiting for the right time to sell them - maybe after spreading information about error and variety coins. I do not know what is the punishment for misconduct on the mint's employees, but heard from the trustable sources, those culprits that were responsible for doing assisted error during 2005-2009 were caught and all of them were fired.
Malaysia has just introduced her third series coinage beginning 2012. Sadly assisted error coins were seen for this year too. :(
Luckily all assisted error coins are striking error coins. :)

I have seen one assisted error coins that were struck on different series coin. So instead of double denomination, can it be called double denomination and double series error coin? -.-

I remember when ebay had gone global and I was purchasing 20 or so multistruck coins from a India ebay seller that averaged $25.00 per coin... Most times I would be high bidder on all his listings... After a few of these purchases from the same seller, I was able to purchase India error coins in lots of 500 coins for $3.00 each... After purchasing some 2,000 errors from him, he flooded the market place with Error from India, and silly me thought I was getting a good deal... In the end I kept about 150 pieces and sold off the balance at a loss just to get rid of them... The Malaysia errors above were not cheap when they first showed up on ebay, again, after purchasing a few of these in a last minute bidding war, I started to notice that there were more sellers from Malaysia selling the same type errors and flooding the market here in the USA...

Who knows some of the classic errors from around the world could have been done by bored employees .. struck through cloth ones .. how do you get a bit of cloth into a machine ?
