I do not follow errors however, I was listing coins and I saw another listing with 'gap error' on Australian 20 cent coin. I looked at mine and it was similar.

Does 2008 Twenty Cent coin have such an error? (gap between water swirl and platypus duck bill)
Is it common? Please advise.

Yes, that is s recognised variety first brought to CCF attention by {ahem} Jeff

They are rather uncommon, and fetch about $1.50 to $2.00 on ebay.

I sorted $300 of 20c today for approx 150 2008 and of them 5 were 'gaps'. Theres out there but hard to find.
