I've noticed a smooth, not reeded 10 cent coin in my Australian coins. I've checked it under 6x, and there's no evidence of machine reeding on the edge. Is this common? Should I post pictures?
Thanks.

It's circulated, it's from 1974, and yes that is very probable I think. I'll take a photo and post within the hour..

A-Smooth-Non-Reeded-10-Cent-Coin
there it is, it's the one in the middle, I've put three other 10c coins to show the difference. My 6x loupe couldn't find any evidence of machine reeding but it may still be worn.

And, Hi Enworb. Don't post without checking with me first. Combined postage for two lots to Turkey might save some money.

Thanks for pointing that out for me guys, I suspected it is wear, but still very happy to have that little guy so far from home.
Jeff and Enworb, one mega package? that sounds very nice guys, Enworb I've already gotten together some British copper and bronze for you. If you are looking for any other country's copper and bronze coins, please let me know.
Jeff, you're the man, I've gotten several packages from you over time and I'll be happy to have anything you have for me! Thanks guys.
