Lucky day in hunting pocket change...this 2005-D circulation strike State Quarter has nice doubling reverse on the bottom tip of upper right corner of outline of state, where it makes the big point east....doubling about 3/8" long, and, substantial enough(I hope, John Wexler will have to decide) for a new DDR listing.I do see any doubled tree branches, just the state corner portion..all of Wexler's D-Mint listings are for doubled tree limbs, so, this is pretty exciting to find...there is NO Machine Doubling on either side, so, I hope it will fly.

I see nothing, but then again I don't have a "normal" coin to compare.

Good luck and please keep us posted on what Wexler reports.

Did you send him the coin or just a photo?

I'm sorry my setup for pics is so crappy...I'm mailing it to Mr. Wexler, and, should have it back in 6-8 weeks.
I'm always looking at St. 25c for doubling, and, always in the center of the design, where the doubling is now, since change to single-squeeze. A bit surprised this has not been found before, or, a differentiation of it, as in the Wyoming 25c, where there are at least 25 listings..I have to admit, some get so small, it's a bit ridiculous, and, listings should be left for the major varieties, or, switch the listing system to reflect that, and just make it color-coded, MAJOR...MINOR......like Traildies does, it's so much easier to distinguish, when hunting, off a reference page that way.
