sorry - I'm not sure where to put this thread.

I've seen a LOT of ANACS slabs - but haven't seen one like this. Is it real?

I am certainly a novice when it comes to expressing an opinion regarding the authentication of slabs.

It may be worth also posting on a stamp forum, where there may be a greater body of knowledge regarding this type of medium.

Sometimes it appears there are more TPGS's than coins. Yes this is one of the many. If you want, go to Google and type in Third Party Coin Grading Services or similar. You would find there are many, many of them.
Almost always though people think of PCGS or NGC. Those are sort of like the most commonly used ones so are really popular.

Some of the responses here are confusing me.

That is a real ANACS slab. I think the scan may be throwing the colors off.

Will you please explain this? I don't understand why someone would suggest to someone that they post a coin on the stamp forum. Was there a different link before or something?

As far as the slab goes, I have never seen one with a label like that so I can't really comment on its authenticity

It must be a really old slab, since they have serial #s now on them.
