And when I put grade, in my opinion, in description, told me only the four major TPG's allowed.
So, I went back and put "XF subjectively".
Hope this is not a violation. What do you all do?

I usually just describe the coin and avoid putting any notation of G, VF, AU, etc...
I mention how legible(or not) the dates and legends are along with some comments about the rims, outlines, stars, LIBERTY, and whatever other details might be appropriate for the specific coin. I figure that if I describe the coin fairly and have a few honest photos that show the coin well, then the buyer can ascertain their own grade (which is subjective anyhow).

No matter what, you are not going to make everybody happy or agree on grades everytime, but overall I think most coin collectors are pretty forgiving and understanding as long as you make an educated attempt to honestly describe a coin and show fair pics (and it keeps ebay happy too!).

I have almost given up on putting grades on myself and just put Good condition or detector found or gap filler .. it is just to subjective unless it is professionally graded .. and I dissagre with there grades sometimes
