I don't doubt that there will be more of these 's' mint NIFC coins down the road,
however, the mint has said nothing about doing all the ATBs from here out with 's' mints.

It's messed up no matter how you look at it. One, two, a few... if they haven't done them
all in an 's' variety from the start, it really hurts the set.

I agree that probably for the rest of the series we will be seeing "s" mint coins. So in the future what is to really differentiate these particular coins from either the uncirculated proof coins or the coins that are found in the 3 piece sets.

I think that the only people who will need to gather these rolls in are people like me who also collect uncirculated rolls from the mint.

This is another ploy for more money from the collector who in the end may start rethinking his purchases from the mint and possibly start to reduce purchasing multiple sets. I know that I may just do that.

Agreed. I like the variety but the making the same thing over and over again with just a different mint mark is starting to get out of control

Baseball its not a different mint mark that we're talking about, this is just a different way of packing an already existing coin in a way that will never go into circulation.

At least with the older pennies the "s" mintmark actually went into circulation. This is another NIFC product pure and simple. Any coins that ultimately get into circulation will be those that are deemed non-MS70 material or just plain old fashioned rejects no matter how good they look.
