I know that. pre 1965 dimes are 90 percent silver but are nickels and quarters the same

Pre 1965 Dollars, Half Dollars, Quarters and Dimes are 90% Silver. 1942 to 1945 Nickels with a large mint mark over the dome on the reverse are 35% silver.

Don't forget half dollars 1965--1970 (inclusive). Those are 40% silver and worth hanging onto.
