bpositve, the 1970S really plays with my eyes. I would have sworn I found one when I first started. I had my RedBook out which shows both coins and I had a coin that had some of the characteristics of the small S. Later on, I purchased a couple of the more well known variety/error books and found that they weren't the characteristics that mattered. :( OO

@bpositive-Cant tell from your language...you do realize the small date is the scarce variety....right?

see I'm very new to collecting coins and still learning. amida, are they both scarce? or Just the small date? I tought the large date was the scarce one.
haha I'm still learning :P

That is another cent that is hard to find what I did was I went to my local coin shop and asked to see one of his and I used a large date to compare and you just have to see one then you will know when you finally find one its no question the real deal
