I am sure the four main PMz will be headed back down by the time the US markets close tomorrow, but for now there is some interesting trading going on the other side of the planet bout right now....

I think we will spend the summer range bound. I think the only way to make money with PMs in the short term is to trade the volatility using paper. The range is too tight to do any big moves with physical. Also I think QE3 is coming before the end of the year so build the hoard now.

Your are dead right CP, until PMz move at least 20% up, it does not allow much room at all to make much money in the short position....
We will see however as the summer is just getting started, as a late summer spike is PMz best hope for this year IMO....

I think you are right Center Pin, looks like $1550-1600 gold and $28-29 silver for awhile. Unless something in the financial markets falls apart this summer.

I haven't heard, will there be a QE III? If he"s committed to it, there might be another spike as the dollars loses it's value.

The big problem with the dollar losing value is the euro is in worse shape. With Greece and Spain in trouble and now Italy is deteriorating, the euro is going to devalue faster. Even if we get QE3 I don't think we will see the kind of spikes we saw before.

Heck Hock, that picture you paint makes it sound like the whole world is crumbling down, an that may not be to far from the truth, lol.... Talk about not getting the cake or a chance to eat it, rof .... An the sad part is I agree totally, minus perhaps I still feel that PMz will spike when most now are in the sideways for the rest of the year or drop to a larger buying window.....

Quantitative Easing,Chapter 3(more expansion of the money supply). Guys,I think we will get a spike, but it won't be because of QE this time(at least not OUR QE). The ECB will eventually conclude that to hold the Eurozone together they will have to print money like there is no tomorrow(because for them, there will be no tomorrow),then we will see the spike we are looking forward to.

enworb, They used to call it monetization; but I guess that word had gathered too much baggage over the years, so some US economist decided to issue a new one.

They may not announce a QEIII. Bernanke is already pouring money into the system. Now Spain needs help and the US tax payer will get stuck throwing money in that direction. It all adds up no matter what they call it. In this digital society we live in, all they need to do is create more digits, you don't need anything to back it.
