Is it my imagination, or does the Twister Smilie have a 'tiny little' Tasmanian Devil in it's middle. Nah, I'm just seeing things again. Curse these nackered eyes.
What you are seeing is actually the Endangered/Threatened (and legally protected) albino hooved jackel, found only in the sub-Saharan mountains of Sudan. Numbering less than 10 individuals in the wild (none in zoos), it is cleverly included in the Twister Smilie as a subliminal reminder of the precarious nature of this species and with the hope that somebody will embark on a crusade to save the species. Nancy, you are the only one who has ever detected it. Doesn't it make you want to pack your bags and travel to the Sudan to protect this animal?
