I believe I have the attributions for these coins thanks to Doug. The first coin I have as Diocletian RIC VI 56a struck at Ticinum in 305AD:
OBV: DN DIOCLETIANO BAEATISSIMO SEN AVG, laureate bust right in imperial mantle, holding olive branch & mappa
REV: PROVIDENTIA DEORVM QVIES AVGG, Providentia standing right, extending right hand to Quies standing left, branch downward in right hand, leaning left on vertical sceptre, pellet in right field, TT in ex.
6.8g, 28mm
The second I have as an AE30 of Elagabalus SGI 3097, struck at Antioch, Syria, 218-222 AD:
OBV: AVT KAI M APAVP ANTWNEINOC CE, laureate bust right
REV: ANTIOXEWN MHT KOL, city-goddess seated left on rock, holding ears of corn, River-god Orontes swimming at her feet, above ram running left. In field S C , D E , and star
14.6g, 30mm
If someone cares to double check me I would greatly appreciate it. I am by no means 100% certain of these attributions.
