Two questions:
- Have you tried polishing NGC Edge-View slabs and what does the end result look like?
- Does the slab tend to get scratched more easily in the future?

NGC slabs are different than PCGS ones because they are made from a softer plastic. This makes them harder to polish than PCGS's but that's the extent of what I've learned from reading other threads.

In addition to the softer plastic, the NGC Edge-View holders have a protective UV coating covering the plastic - the same thing used on eyeglasses to prevent scratching. Polishing the slab destroys that coating. I don't really care about the coating but I'd like to know if its going to be prone to scratches in the future. Or if the coating itself makes polishing the slab difficult.

NGC slabs are a little harder to polish but I am not sure about if they are prong to scratching afterwards because the ones I had were scratched before I received them and I always store mine inPCGS or NGC plastic boxes and do not really have a problem with them getting scratched

I probably wrote that post the wrong way, really I'm more concerned with how the slab polished up. If you did try it on the new edge view holders, can you talk about the result? And what polish did you use... I'm going to try Novus.
