I am starting this thread to create a place for CCF members to post the absolute ( like PO-01 or corroded) worst condition coins in their collections. Sadly, I do not have the time to post pics of my own, but everyone else, go ahead, make my day!

I found a couple of clad halves a few weeks ago that were worn slick. I was going to post photos, but I can't find them now. I've never seen modern coins so worn...

How about much newer thing. A Presidential dollar. This was just my spending money. I emptied my pocket into the sock drawer and forgot about it for a few weeks. Laundry had been done a couple of times, some socks with residual moisture entered the drawer ... All other coins (change) are fine, the dollar seems to be on the verge of throwing up. But, hey, it's a game now, "Guess the president!" (Would you like to win it?)  |
