Good Afternoon,

I have a couple of questions. First I'm wanting to sell a Defenders of Freedom Set that I bought from the U.S. Mint for $52 but I don't know how much of a markdown is "Too Much." I know that even if I were to try and make a profit that would not happen based on many different factors, but I just want some of my money back to put towards a future purchase. Any thoughts?

My second question was about selling in general. I'll never be a coin dealer but when selling this kind of stuff do I want to keep my purchase price low and then markup?

Thanks,
Rich

Theres a bunch on ebay they look to be going for around 60 some a little higher some a little lower.

For your second question I would say dealer or not you always want to keep your purchase price as low as possible and if you sell ideally be able to markup. It all depends on the item and the what the market currently is but I would certainly try to markup on a sale before dumping it below value. If you didnt need the money I would probably just hang on to items with a markdown currently and see if that changes in the future
