so I went to my towns coin shop,to get some wheat pennys appraised, and the owner said that he would buy my Fine condition 1913 S penny for $7.50.
was that a good price?
also, he said that my 1922 D Wheat penny was worth $10.00, is that right?
(i did not sell the 1922 D penny.)

7.50 for the 13-S? What was the condition? You could have gotten more on ebay, even if it were just an album filler... :-/

The OP stated that the 13-S was in F grade.
In that grade/BN values range from 13 to 14 bucks F.M.V.
Less on the dealers sheets. 8 to 9 bucks would be a fair price for it.
The 22-D value in F grade/BN would be around 14/15 bucks.
Dealer, maybe 10 to 12.

Even with a small, out of focus picture, I can clearly see that your 22D would grade higher than Good.

A 1913 Wheat penny is worth 1.25 to 60.00 depending upon the coins grade, condition, and copper prices.

I Agree with Bio.

Even from the picture provided you can clearly see a nice ear and the jaw line looks ok as well.

Better OBV AND REV pictures would clinch it though.
