so I went to my towns coin shop,to get some wheat pennys appraised, and the owner said that he would buy my Fine condition 1913 S penny for $7.50. was that a good price? also, he said that my 1922 D Wheat penny was worth $10.00, is that right? (i did not sell the 1922 D penny.) A

7.50 for the 13-S? What was the condition? You could have gotten more on ebay, even if it were just an album filler... :-/

The OP stated that the 13-S was in F grade. In that grade/BN values range from 13 to 14 bucks F.M.V. Less on the dealers sheets. 8 to 9 bucks would be a fair price for it. The 22-D value in F grade/BN would be around 14/15 bucks. Dealer, maybe 10 to 12.

ok, I will get a pic. in....of the 1922 d. HE said that the 1922 d was good, and the 1913 s was fine- very fine.

Even with a small, out of focus picture, I can clearly see that your 22D would grade higher than Good.

I Agree with Bio.  Even from the picture provided you can clearly see a nice ear and the jaw line looks ok as well. Better OBV AND REV pictures would clinch it though.
