06/10 38 AD Drusilla, Caligula's favorite sister and lover, dies at age 22. Her brother had the Roman Senate declare her a goddess as "Diva Drusilla", deifying her as a representation of the Roman goddess Venus or Greek goddess Aphrodite. A year later, Caligula named his only known daughter Julia Drusilla after his late favorite sister.

Caligula was one perverted dude, wasn't he?

Thanks for the history lesson JW. Been working on retiring and haven't had much time to post. Got to catch up on all the threads!

Wow, that's disturbingly interesting, Bing ...

Ummm gee-whiz, it sure sounds like Caligula had a very tight family!!? (personally, my sister and I had a far more traditional sibling relationship ... the whole sister-brother lover thingy was never considered, nor desired ... instead, she would punch me in the arm and then threaten more abuse unless I did her chores) ....... *sniffle* ... that made me kinda homesick

Tick-tock => hey, there is now only 1 month until we go back to BC for our summer vacation!!

Jerry, it's good to hear you and Caligula had very little in common. But what about the horse thing?
