The mint had made a 1967 specimen set in large quantities, but it wasn't until 1971 that they began offering specimen sets in quantity every year. All specimen sets before 1971, except for 1967 without gold, are valuable.
Another hard-to-find NCLT purchase, very few specimen sets were struck in 1965. Apologies in advance for the photo quality from shooting through two layers of plastic, in an older holder.
