I got my 53 today. I tried multiple shots to show the cameo and the toning, hope they came out decent. Taking pictures of proofs with a cell phone is tough...

Im thrilled to add this coin to my collection!

That's a great looking 53. Seems like the straight on shots show the cameo better.

Thanks guys. I'm gonna ask my dad to help me get a better picture.
Coming up, I have a few raw coins I will be sending to they are:

A nice high grade 1955, but with no cameo. Will most likely use it to trade.
A 1956 type 1 that I cherry picked which also has no cameo, but it's a good coin worth protecting. With the rarity of the type 1, I will keep this until the opportunity presents itself to use this in a trade also.

Along with the type 1, I am sending a raw 1956 type 2 with strong cameo.
Last two heading

Sorry... Last two heading out are both nice cameos, one is a 1961 and the other is a 1963.

Hope I get some keepers for the set out of this batch. I will post a few pics of the raw coins for your expert opinions.

muddler, thats beautiful. are there goldish tone streaks on franklins nose/mouth and hair? If so, I love it.
The 1960 I was really referring to is in mkman123's "box of 60" thread. Its just amazing, I believe its a pr67 DCAM.

I think he should post a pic of it here to share/compare! Its a real beauty.

Good grief, that think is sweeeeet!
You mention in your thread that your friend found it raw and had it graded himself. What is the story of how/where etc he came across it?
