Poll Question
So, the latest S mint Mint product goes on sale this week, the five ATB Quarters will be S mint in business strike available in bags and rolls. Who will, or won't be participating in this one, whether for profit opportunities or for numismatic collecting purposes.

I just want 1 S mint qtr. per design for novelty aspects.
Well, not really novelty, but as long as this is a one year deal, I have some space to keep the in the Dansco.

This has been kinda discussed to death, I don't know if we need yet another thread on the subject.

One coin for my dansco (not sure where) and one roll to hold onto. Will get two rolls total. Break one open and take the best for my album, keep the other.

Isn't everybody sick of talking about the products of the San Francisco mint this month? Those new S-mint marked coins just need to go away, maybe later I'll feel differently. Having said that I'll add a roll to my upcoming order and conveniently hide it away somewhere when I get it, and then a few years later figure out what to do with 'em.

If they are standard business strikes, they should have just put them in circulation.
kinda makes a 2012 mint set a fraud if you ask me.

Well, so far they have not committed to doing ALL of the ATB coins in 'S' mint. They have only announced the one, and have no dates upcoming for the others. So it might just be a one time thing, or they might be testing the waters to see if they want to begin doing all of them in 'S' flavor next year.

I agree with GRR... The mint set this year was robbed of at least one coin.

This coin was just a terrible idea in all aspects. I agree the mint set seems to be incomplete now, and even if they continued the series with this the first part of the series will be missing. If they really wanted to do it for this year they should have done a unique design for it

This presents me with a major duh-lema! Although I like the S mint marked coins, I would have preferred it on a Yosemite Quarter, but that would have made sense. So to have to buy bags or rolls for the five 2012 issue in "S" makes very little collectable sense to me. I think that I will have to pass on the direct purchase and pick up some singles elsewhere!

Let's get the New Orleans Mint back in action while we're at it. Really mess with those Danscos.

Hey, if San Fran can make quarters with 'S' on it, then why not make them at West Point also and put a 'W' on them? That would drive everyone nuts!
