This unannounced little tacker just turned up at Downies website.
2012 $1 Outback Kangaroo F15 Privy 1oz Silver Proof

I don't usually follow the privy mark thing so I have no idea what the F15 is supposed to mean.

Mintage: 5,000
RRP: $107

Struck by the Royal Australian Mint specifically for an international coin program -- The Fabulous 15 Silver Crown Collection -- the entire mintage of 5,000 was dispatched overseas, with not even the RAM planning to offer this coin to Australian collectors!
life is a mystery to be lived not a problem to be solved

Reminds me of the 2004-2006 Roos. It's OK but I'm not loving it. Still probably get it if the price falls about $30. Once you collect 15-20, might as well collect them all, I guess.

The design seems reminiscent of Perth Mints' gold Kangaroos - must be the use of the windmill.
